Greg Travis: Advocating for Flood Relief

Enough is Enough. There is a widely used saying that "Justice Delayed is Justice Denied." If true, then certainly "Flood Projects Delayed are Flood Project Denied". Currently, the NEW Commissioners Court is delaying work on Buffalo Bayou using a "new" subjective formula to justify the re-prioritization of flood control projects resulting in 7 of the 12 projects on Buffalo Bayou coming in last out of 239 projects.

September 28, 2015 – The Houston Chronicle, Houston’s major newspaper, has endorsed Greg Travis for Houston City Council-District G saying that he will “work tirelessly to identify budget excesses and to fix them.” The Chronicle looked to his “excellent resume and knowledge of government” when making the endorsement stating that he, a conservative, is best suited for the position.
