Greg Travis: Advocating for Flood Relief

Enough is Enough. There is a widely used saying that "Justice Delayed is Justice Denied." If true, then certainly "Flood Projects Delayed are Flood Project Denied". Currently, the NEW Commissioners Court is delaying work on Buffalo Bayou using a "new" subjective formula to justify the re-prioritization of flood control projects resulting in 7 of the 12 projects on Buffalo Bayou coming in last out of 239 projects.

I have had enough of putting politics over science so I took OUR fight to Commissioners Court advocating for flood relief for our community. I will continue this fight for our District and pledge to do so until we do get the much needed infrastructure improvements we were promised during last years County Bond referendum so that our neighbors never suffer again from events like Hurricane Harvey, Memorial Day Floods, and the Tax Day Floods.
